The Government has made an ad about Net Zero by 2050 and it’s surprisingly honest and informative. A THEJUICEMEDIA satiric video licensed as CC BY-NC-SA.

Those who digest uncomfortable truths best in satirical form and prefer to serve them to others in this form are in the right place with 'The Juice Media'. This masterpiece is a supposedly honest government statement on the global climate goal of net zero emissions by 2050 (or 2045), in which a woman with a dashing voice and nimble pointing stick ironically depicts the gap between scientific necessity and political action and discourse in the climate crisis.

We're excited about the clip, which is dedicated to Greta Thunberg as a relentless advocate for honesty in the climate crisis, and has her make a brief appearance in the closing credits.

So if you're a teacher who's been waiting for the splashy, cheeky material to teach your students (reasons for) the gaping hole between science and policy on the climate crisis, please grab it and use it! The same applies, of course, to all potentially interested parties.
